# Timezone and booking times

**These settings control when a unit can be booked. Find them under the unit's** _**Settings**_ **tab.**

## [Timezone](#timezone)

The _Timezone_ of the unit decides when a day starts and ends, for example when today's date can no longer be booked. Set it to the timezone where the unit is located. When your device is in a different timezone, Bookingmood suggests to _Use_ that timezone instead.

## [Rent period](#rent-period)

Whether the unit is rented per night or per day. See [Rent period](https://www.bookingmood.com/en-US/docs/units/rent-period).

## [Latest booking time](#latest-booking-time)

Guests can book a stay that starts today until this time. After it, the first date they can book is tomorrow. Leave it empty to accept bookings for today all day.

## [Time between bookings](#time-between-bookings)

_Block … nights after each booking_ (or days, for units rented per day) keeps the unit unavailable after every booking, for example to leave time for cleaning. Set it to 0 to allow a new booking to start on the day the previous one ends.
