# Settings

**Open the website under** _**Channels**_ **and go to** _**Settings**_**.**

## [Name and domain](#name-and-domain)

- _Name_: the name of the website, shown in the header and browser tab.
- _Domain_: the Bookingmood subdomain the website is available on.

## [Custom domain](#custom-domain)

Use your own domain, such as _www.yourrentals.com_ or _book.yourwebsite.com_.

- Enter the domain under _Custom domain_.
- Add the DNS records that are shown at your domain provider. Your hosting provider can help with this.
- Wait until the status changes from _Verification required_ to _Verified_. Click _Refresh_ to check again.

If the status shows _DNS misconfigured_, compare the records at your domain provider with the ones shown. Once verified, the Bookingmood subdomain redirects to your domain.

## [Password](#password)

Set a _Password_ to make the website _Password protected_, for example while you're still building it. Click _Remove password_ to make it public.

## [Custom HTML](#custom-html)

Add _Custom HTML_ to every page, such as an analytics or chat script.
