# Sync Bookingmood units

**When two units can't be booked at the same time, for example a whole house and a room in it, link their calendars. A booking in one then blocks the other.**

- Open one of the units and go to _Synchronization_.
- Click _Sync Bookingmood unit_.
- Select the other unit.

Bookingmood imports the calendar of each unit into the other. Both imports appear under _Imported iCal feeds_ of the units; delete them there to unlink the units.

Imported bookings aren't passed on to a third unit. That's what makes this work for a house with several rooms, see [Main and sub units](https://www.bookingmood.com/en-US/docs/units/main-and-sub-units).

Only units in the same organization can be linked this way. For units in different organizations, import their [iCal feeds](https://www.bookingmood.com/en-US/docs/synchronization/ical).
