Main and sub units

A rental can be part of another rental. Like a room that's part of a hotel. The availability of a single room depends on the availability of the complete hotel. And, if all of the rooms are booked, the complete hotel is also booked.

To link the availability of different units to each other, you can use the iCal feeds of the units.

Main calendar

• Import the iCal feeds of all sub units. This way, the main unit will become unavailable when one or more of the sub units are booked. Because when a sub unit is booked, the whole main unit can't be booked anymore.

Sub units

• Import the iCal feed of the main unit. This way, the sub unit will become unavailable when the main unit is booked. Because when the main unit is booked, it means all sub units are booked as well.

That's it, the availability of these units are now synced. This even works when the units are not in the same organization.
