# Units

**A unit is something you rent out: a holiday home, an apartment, a room, a camping pitch or a boat. Each unit has its own calendar, rent prices, booking form and settings. Open** _**Units**_ **in the side navigation to see all units of your organization.**

When you open a unit, its tabs are: _Calendar_, _Bookings_, _Synchronization_, _Rent_, _Price calendar_, _Booking form_, _Message schedule_, _Tasks template_, _Appearance_, _Settings_ and _Permissions_.

Your subscription is based on the number of units, so adding or deleting a unit updates it automatically. Only members with the _Admin_ or _Superuser_ role can create, copy, migrate and delete units, see [Roles and permissions](https://www.bookingmood.com/en-US/docs/team/roles-and-permissions).

## [Create a unit](#create-a-unit)

- Go to _Units_.
- Click _New unit_.
- Fill in the form. All details can be edited later.
  - _Import_: paste the link of the unit's listing on Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo to fill in the name, images and other details automatically.
  - Images, _Name_, _Rent period_, rates and _Capacity_.
- Confirm. Amounts due for the extra unit are settled immediately.

## [Copy a unit](#copy-a-unit)

Copying is the quickest way to add a unit that's similar to an existing one. The copy gets the same settings, prices and booking form, but no bookings.

- Open the unit.
- Go to _Settings_.
- Click _Copy unit_. The copy is called _Copy of_ followed by the name of the unit.

## [Migrate a unit to another organization](#migrate-a-unit-to-another-organization)

You can move a unit to another organization you're a member of.

- Open the unit.
- Go to _Settings_.
- Click _Migrate to another organization_ and select the organization.
- Click _Confirm migration_.

Migrating does the following:

- The unit moves to the other organization with its rent prices, availability, bookings, invoices and contacts.
- Links to other units in its synchronization are removed.
- The unit is removed from the widgets and websites of the original organization.
- Permissions, occupancy, attributes, scheduled messages, coupons and discounts are reset for the unit.
- Billing works as if the unit was deleted in one organization and created in the other.

## [Delete a unit](#delete-a-unit)

Deletion is irreversible: the unit's bookings and other data are deleted as well.

- Open the unit.
- Go to _Settings_.
- Click _Delete unit_ and confirm.
