# Timeline

**The** _**Timeline**_ **shows the bookings, blocked periods and notes of all your units on one screen, one row per unit. It's the first screen you see when you open an organization.**

## [Navigate the timeline](#navigate-the-timeline)

- Scroll horizontally to move through time. Use the navigation at the top to jump to today or another date.
- Click _Zoom_ to choose how wide the days and how high the rows are, so more or fewer days and units fit on the screen.
- Sort the units by _Name_, _Created_ or _Last modified_, or search and filter them, for example by [attribute](https://www.bookingmood.com/en-US/docs/units/attributes).

Click and drag over dates in a unit's row to add a booking, blocked period or note for those dates. See [Manual bookings](https://www.bookingmood.com/en-US/docs/bookings/manual-bookings).

## [Open a booking](#open-a-booking)

Click a booking to open its details. See [Booking details](https://www.bookingmood.com/en-US/docs/bookings/booking-details).

Drag a booking to move it to other dates or another unit, or drag its start or end to change its length.
