# Bookingmood as an availability calendar

**Don't need online bookings or payments? Use Bookingmood to show which dates are free on your website. Guests contact you to book, and your calendar stays in sync with other platforms.**

The _Availability_ plan has everything you need for this.

## 1. Create your units

- Go to _Units_ and click _New unit_.
- Enter the name and, optionally, import the details from your Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo listing.

## 2. Fill the calendar

- Add the bookings you already have, see [Manual bookings](https://www.bookingmood.com/en-US/docs/bookings/manual-bookings), or import them from a spreadsheet with [Data import](https://www.bookingmood.com/en-US/docs/synchronization/data-import).
- Block periods when the unit isn't available, see [Blocked periods](https://www.bookingmood.com/en-US/docs/bookings/blocked-periods).

## 3. Sync with other platforms

Rent out on Airbnb or Booking.com too? Import their calendars, so bookings there appear in Bookingmood automatically, and export Bookingmood's calendar to them. See the guide [Syncing with Airbnb and Booking.com](https://www.bookingmood.com/en-US/guides/channel-sync).

## 4. Show the calendar on your website

- Go to _Channels_, click _New channel_ and choose a _Calendar widget_ for one unit, or a _Timeline widget_ for several.
- Set the colors to match your website.
- Click _Embed_ and paste the code into your website.
