SMS

Besides emails, you can send text messages to guests, by hand from a booking or automatically from the message schedule.

Request access#

SMS sending is restricted for new organizations to prevent abuse. Open a booking's messages or Message templates, choose SMS, and click Request SMS access. This opens an email to our support team; we enable SMS for your organization after a short check.

Guests' phone numbers#

Text messages go to the phone numbers of the booking's contacts. Ask for a phone number in the booking form with the Phone field, and turn on With SMS opt-in so guests agree to receive text messages. See Booking form.

Send a text message#

• By hand: open a booking, choose SMS in the message editor, write the message and click Send. See Manual messages.

• Automatically: add a Scheduled SMS to a unit's message schedule.

Text messages can use the same variables as emails. Keep them short: long messages are split into several parts.
