Capacity

You can define the guest capacity of each of your units. If your rent price differs for different kinds of guests, you can specify the unit's capacity using multiple categories like adults, children and babies. If you do so, you can specify prices like $100 per night per adult, and $80 per night per child.
Add a capacity category
- Open your rental unit.
- Click on Settings.
- Under Capacity, click on + Category.
Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Plural | The plural form of the category, for example: Adults |
| Singular | The singular form of the category, for example: Adult |
| Manual input | The guest can fill in the number per category on their booking, for example: 1, 2 or 3 Adults |
| Sum of other categories | Sums up categories that are filled in by the guest, for example: 2 Adults and 2 Kids = 4 Persons (Guests is the name of this category) |
| Description | Text that describes the capacity category, for example: 2-18 years old |
Example
The example below shows 3 categories:
- Adults
- Kids
- Guests (sum of Adults and Kids)
If you look closely, you'll see that the total number of Guests is 4, and at least 1 Adult is required.
